hmpfI just talked to a very friendly, very cheerful employee of my city's waste disposal department, about what to do with several liters of old olive oil, sunflower oil and other types of leftover oils I've finally decided to rid our kitchen of.
On a phone hotline.
At 2 a.m. in the morning.
I really should have asked her what they need a 24-hour hotline for... I mean, it was nice to be able to ask that question right when it occurred to me, but... wtf? What garbage-related emergencies could there be that *really* require a 24-hour hotline?
Maybe I should call again...
