Fic: How to Love a Madman

I'm doing that 'posting somewhat prematurely' thing again, because I'm still waiting for icudoc to give his final okay on my use of medical vocabularly in this (and also, I'm still marginally unhappy with some details of the poem section), but I'm frustrated with uni stuff right now and finishing a fic and *getting it out there* seemed like a good cure for that frustration. Well, that was late even by my standards, but yes, I am just becoming nocturnal. Not really sure why. I think it's in rebellion against...something. I think it makes me feel like I'm hiding out in my treehouse and refusing to come in for dinner.

Petty acts of rebellion can be very soothing in terms of reasserting some sort of control? Especially when your entire current life plan consists of moving to the other side of the world largely because...it's the other side of the world? And when you're living out of boxes and trying to keep your husband sane because he keeps having flashbacks to living with his parents?

It's...interesting. ;) I mean, I'll be okay, but I think that staying up until 4am isn't really a problem in the scheme of things. And yeah; I see from your date stamp that you agree. :p
