I just finished revising "Names", mainly because it's a bit easier than revising "68 Wives" (probably because I care about it slightly less *g*), and when I moved that, with a great feeling of satisfaction, to the 'finished' folder in my 'writing' file, I decided to poke around a bit in that folder.
The 'finished' folder contains a folder for every story I've finished so far (that's 14), and those folders contain all the earlier, 'in progress' versions of those stories. So I took a look at the very first incarnation of what is now "Normal", but was then titled "Coming Home", and, whoah. It's craptastic!
I'm quite impressed with myself for having turned that pile of crap into "Normal". Even if it did take me three years.
Will post both "Names" and the final version of "Starving On the Jump Down" (yay for pretentious fic titles stolen from German humorists!) in the next couple of days. Just need to get them formatted for my website.
Then, I'll finish revising "68 Wives" and the also very pretentiously/stupidly titled *very* early Methos fic "Sometimes We Believe" (my second story, from way back in 2000), and *then* I'll get back to my many works in progress. Wheeeee!
