hmpfI'm still not quite done reading the T&R archives, and I've just now reached September 03, where the cartoonist does something... uhm... I'm still not sure if it's amazingly daring or amazingly boring. Possibly both. Anyway: at that point of the story the protagonists find a machine called a 'Recapulon' which, well, recaps. - It recaps the - entire- first - year - of - the - comic! The recap runs for 20 strips... that's three weeks! Must have driven readers crazy at the time... I'm lucky, I can read it in one sitting in the archives now! *g*
Gotta hand it to Patrick Shaughnessy, he's not afraid of alienating his readers. Well, okay, we knew that since he invented Alienating Readers Week, I guess... but still, that mammoth recap must have been more like Alienating Readers Month!
