hmpf: Cole and Ramse from the show not actually called "Splinter" (Hmpf)

Errrrmmm.....

But I'm just so proud.

"These Days" is exactly 1700 words long now. Which means I've probably written more than 500 words today. It's hard to tell, though, as I keep cutting and adding words in the middle of the story...

Anyway. This part - that is, the part that is just setting the mood and giving the reader a general idea of the state the characters and their relationship are in, is more or less done. Barring further revisions, that is.

Which means that I have to get my plot organised now. *shudder* (I think the fact that it took me 1700 words to set the mood is saying a lot about how epic a proposal this might turn out to be!)

This is a first, people. Hmpf Does Plot. Mark the day in your calendars. [livejournal.com profile] beebee852001, [livejournal.com profile] linelen and possibly [livejournal.com profile] dunkle_feuer, I think I will need your help this week... Will try and get my thoughts organised and possibly written out now, and e-mail them to you, I think.

@People I owe feedback and stuff: initially I meant to send loads of feedback today, but the muses won. Sorry.

Edited to add: I am constantly amazed at myself, writing this story. 1.) It's Harry Potter fic, and I'm not even all that interested in Harry Potter, for crying out loud! 2.) It's slash, and I'm not even all that interested in slash! 3.) Despite my best efforts to keep it Victorian, they have, in the three pages I've written so far, already had sex *twice*! Sheesh. Honestly, the only thing about this story that I recognise - the only thing that proves that this is *me* writing it, and not some insane HP slasher incubus who has taken over my brain - is the angst! Very weird.

I'm right with you - with the "Argh it's a plot!" and "Eek it's slash!"

Been there, done that...Not with HP though...And oddly, not in the same fic...

I bet it'a waiting to sneak up on me, isn't it?
