(I am aware I owe some people replies and mails and stuff. Will get to it, hopefully tomorrow. BTW, people vaguely interested in Stuff Happening in My Life may want to log in, I made some posts in the last few days.)

I AM INORDINATELY EXCITED BY THE FACT THAT I MADE HUMMUS!


Here's the hummus - accompanied by bread, walnuts, and some damn fine tomatoes:



I still have more than half a jar of hummus left in my fridge, and I've already had two meals out of this recipe. Very good value for your money and time!

And here's something I'm not sure what to call in English - a semolina pudding? With yellow plums. It was mostly a way of getting rid of some of the absurd amount of really not very tasty plums I bought last week, but it came out tasting quite nice. (Could have been even better if the plums actually had a bit of flavour, of course.):

Double yolked egg! You lucky sod!

Sometimes I wish I liked hummus, but I abhor chickpeas, otherwise it'd be another mushy thing to eat when I don't feel so hungry. Yours looks nice, though.

Nooo, it wasn't a double-yolked egg. Those are two eggs. But the yolk of one of them was doughnut-shaped, that was the mutant thing about it! :D

And have you tried Hummus? It doesn't taste much like chickpeas, IMO. (I don't like chickpeas either, actually. Hummus is the only shape in which I eat them.)

Ohhhhhh. Still, I've never had an egg come out weird (or double yolked).

Yeah, I have, and I don't like it. Although it was some time ago. Maybe I should try again.
