In October.

Shall I try to add another ticket to my collection of possibly/probably-to-remain-unused tickets? Is that a wise use of my possibly/probably soon-to-be-uncertain money supply?

I should probably start looking seriously into selling off the Italy one. That one was purely bought on a stupid impulse, and was never going to work out anyway - it's in the middle of the week, and at least nine hours from here by train/bus. At least the Berlin ones are more or less on a weekend (Friday and Saturday - Saturday may work out, Friday may not), and Berlin is easy to travel to.

Sadly the website I bought the Italy ticket from isn't exactly making it easy for international users (or anyone, really) to sell their tickets if they find themselves unable to attend.

Well, I have a few more days to decide if I want to squander more money on the vague hope of making it to one of those concerts...

Didn't you say the other date weren't convenient for you anyway? If the additional one suits you better, maybe there's a place somewhere on the net where you could swop tickets. Good luck.:)

Hard to tell what will be convenient for me, in the months to come. Too many unknowns. Even harder to tell for October, of course. - Wait, I should check if the gig's on a weekend - in that case I guess it would be more likely to be convenient no matter where I am and what I'm doing, job or healthwise. The problem with the concerts I have tickets for is that I may be in hospital then. Or, perhaps, back at work. ... Or unemployed - but that, of course, wouldn't clash with the gigs so much. (Talk about silver linings. *snerk*)

Oh, well ... But I guess that yeah, a weekend is probably best, in any case.;)

As for a ticket exchange... yeah, the problem there is that with tickets for sold-out gigs going for up to 1000 dollars on ebay, and scumbags purposely and illegally buying up tickets just to sell them for these vastly inflated prices later on, ticket sellers (official ones) have introduced all kinds of measures to prevent reselling. And the Italian one I bought the Italy ticket from is particularly strict, it seems. If I understand them correctly, you need a power of attorney if you want to resell your ticket - and as I couldn't give them a German one, I'd also need to pay a translator, I guess. It would probably cost me more to sell this than it would cost me to just not attend it and forget about the money I paid for it. It's sad, though, because I'm sure there are still fans out there who would love to have my ticket.

Yeah, I guess this policy is actually justified, just to try and prevent such abuse. Indeed though, it's sad for those who have good reasons for wanting to sell their tickets.
