(I am so frustrated that I don't have the right mental frame for writing at the moment... grrr...)
Oh, oddly enough, tonight I finished playing a computer game in which the main character turned out to be a little boy in a coma, whose father had been reading him the story of the game at his bedside. It ended with him going back to the real world, which filled with me quite some satisfaction. *snerk*
But it also gave me a nasty bunny: what if Ruth had inadvertently fostered Sam's coma dream, thus indirectly causing his death? No, I'm not going to write that one, it's too nasty.
