Fic: How to Love a Madman

I'm doing that 'posting somewhat prematurely' thing again, because I'm still waiting for icudoc to give his final okay on my use of medical vocabularly in this (and also, I'm still marginally unhappy with some details of the poem section), but I'm frustrated with uni stuff right now and finishing a fic and *getting it out there* seemed like a good cure for that frustration. Sorry I made you cry, that wasn't really the intention of this piece! (I'm not sure what this piece says about me - I mean, I wrote it with the intention to cheer you up, yet it still came out angsty... Then again... we like the angst, don't we? ;-))
