You Are 16% Girly

Um... you're a guy, right? If not, you're the most boyish girl in the world.
And for you, that's probably the ultimate compliment.

Sorry. You know I don't usually do memes. But I'm bored and at work, and always curious about gender stereotypes. So, there.

(Catching up with [livejournal.com profile] calime33's lj at the moment, so that's where I found this.)

Was Nico wohl dazu sagen wird?!?

You totally win at being a guy.

Vielleicht ist Niko die Frau bei Euch? ;-)

20% girly...You know how you were talking about stereotypes in the other post? That whole quiz is one...(*is not angry, honest*)

Girl! ;-)

That said, yes, of course that meme was ridiculous. I don't really take these tests to see my inner maleness confirmed; I take them to have a good laugh at the stereotypes behind them. *g*

Must be that nail polish I used to wear...

Yeah, I don't do them 'cause they reveal great truths about me, just 'cause they amuse me for five idle minutes.

(That Sam icon is cool. It's very subtle! I thought I was seeing things when it moved the first time)

Thanks! That's the intended effect. I was so struck by that bizarre grimace when he did that on the show that I just had to make an icon of it.

That is the weirdest facial expression I've seen on anyone. Ever. Bless John Simm, eh? (Talking of whom, I'm starting rewatching Clocking Off tonight on ITV3. The Lakes is gonna be on as well, but it hasn't started yet (I think)).

I got 16% too. (And I suspect if I hadn't ticked "shopping" - because I shop for books, not clothes - the score would have been even lower.)

What gets me about that quiz is how vapid and shallow (and juvenile!) the gender stereotypes they picked are. All fashion and consumerism. Someone taking it who had traditional feminine interests like cooking or embroidery or flower arranging would still score as a "guy" if she wasn't interested in gossip magazines and makeup.
