John Constantine, master of cigarette packet magic.

Recently I saw a stage magician who did lots of tricks with cigarettes. I made a joke along the lines of 'now I see why John Constantine's smoking so much - tools of his trade etc.' then. Well, in the later issues of the comic, John is proving me right:

An empty cigarette packet makes a good ceremonial offering to disgruntled supernatural guys living in the London tube (or maybe not so good, considering the reaction):
