Rome/BSG: OTP?

Watching Rome (S1) sandwiched between Battlestar Galactica (S3) causes *really* strange mental interference. Also, desires to write *really* absurd crossovers.

(They *are* praying to the same gods...)

And no, I'm *not* adopting any more plot bunnies, thank you very much. Not outside of my writing fandoms, anyway.

I *might* get an idea for an M.A. thesis out of this, though.

ETA2: Pullo + Vorenus = Gene + Sam. Discuss.

ETA3: Three guesses who I'm beginning to develop yet another crush on.

I don't know about you, but I have a huge crush on Vorenus. And a slightly smaller one on Pullo. *grin*

He reminds me a bit of Sam Tyler (from Life On Mars) - obviously there are differences because they grew up in extremely different cultures, but their character type is quite similar (extremely principled and 'correct').

(Using a Sam icon here because I can only have six icons with my account type, and the Vorenus crush isn't big enough to warrant removing one of those icons and replacing it with him.)
