It's odd, just a few weeks ago I didn't think a webcomic could make me feel anything very significant. I had the medium pegged for a-joke-a-day 'storytelling' without character development or emotional impact. Then I discovered ZebraGirl.
Turns out there's more than one artist out there actually trying to tell a compelling story with characters that you can grow to love.
I love the internet. I love that there are people out there who just want to tell me stories; who want to tell stories so much that they will even do it for free. Fanfic, webcomics, other forms of free fiction... anybody who's dismissing these forms of literature for lack of professionalism is depriving themselves of some great discoveries.
