Belated welcome back to Germany...summer's been so busy for me!

Don't know if I'd be able go yet....would love to though. Where exactly is Thuringia? (as in relation to me near Trier...my German geography still isn't great *g*). And how much will it be, yeah you know my understanding of German terrible (though I'm getting better!)

It's about 250 km from Trier. Do you have a car? Thuringia is the Bundesland east of Hessen (yup, it's ex-GDR territory!) We chose it because it's the most central part of Germany, which shouldn't be much more than 300-350 km to drive for anybody, no matter if they're from the far north, south, or east of the country. There may be someone able to offer you a ride, as well, but I'll have to check the list for that.

The cost for the weekend is 40 Euros (food and lodging), and if possible you should bring an air mattress. There are beds, but there may be more people than beds, and anyway, we watch Farscape lounging on air mattresses on the floor. :-)
