Some laundry. Some reading. Some cooking.
Have done (recently):
Some writing (thankfully) - 'Normal' is in better shape than it ever was before. Cut a lot of superfluous stuff, rearranged all the parts so that it makes a lot more sense now. Am now looking for opinions from people who feel comfortable with John.
Should be doing:
Revising.
Giving feedback to Scapekid, Jenny, Kadira, Ballyharnon.
Writing Eastercon report.
Calling people who might give me a job.
Catching up with friends page (over 300 new posts since I last looked at it. Yeesh. Of course, I just friended five people to make it even worse. *g*)

Things that made me feel good today:
Matt, my saviour, tells me (re: revising) that 'my nothing is less than yours, so there' which I take to mean that he has done even less revising than I have done so far. (Hard to believe, but feels good, anyway.)

Ah, Harry Potter fandom. It's almost impossible not to love you back. How strange. (This makes we want to continue working on The Dystopian Epic, but I promised my Farscape muses to finish 'Normal' first...)
Oh, hey, and this journal has actually been discovered by someone from my Real Life whom I don't mind reading it. I don't really mind anybody reading it, otherwise it wouldn't be public, but I'm really sort of happy to see that particular person around. Welcome. You know who you are. :-)

Date: 2004-04-15 05:32 pm (UTC)I'm just looking for... well, anything you can think of, really. Any kind of comment. On the John-ness or lack of John-ness of the piece, on a possible direction to take it in... will e-mail you what I have so far. Got to give it another quick read-over, though, first.
I think one of the main reasons I haven't been writing more Farscape fic is that I find John almost impossible to get right, but happen to find him the most interesting character.
