Survived my essays.
Mar. 24th, 2004 04:17 amHad an exceedingly crappy day yesterday which resulted in three of my essays being marked down due to my own sheer stupidity (and lack of sleep, I suppose).
Had an exceedingly great day today. A 72 for the Deer Hunter essay, Neverwhere, a new comic, and Rebecca and Nicola singing along to the Farscape theme in the evening.
Also, Pierre managed to turn our toaster into 'QUIGG - the toaster that makes people happier!' - and it works. At least for me.
Thought for the day: I thought the actor who played Richard Mayhew in Neverwhere looked a lot like Paul McCartney. Did some surfing tonight (not a lot, cause I'm tired), and guess what? He played Paul McCartney in some biopic. Guess I wasn't imagining things, then. Somehow, with my strange problems of perception regarding people's faces (get people I know mixed up; can't remember faces of people I know etc.), I'm never sure whether a resemblance I see is really there.
All you people expecting e-mails from me. They're coming. Just not today.
