Games that echo the land- and cityscapes of my subconscious

I won't be able to play Pavilion, as it will be a Playstation exclusive. This makes me very, very sad.

2014 is shaping up to be a big gaming year for me. I made use of the New Year sale on Steam, and some bundle or other, so now I have heaps of stuff to play... most notably, Papo & Yo, which scratches that same "dream architecture" itch...

Have you played Yume Nikki? Have I asked you that before? (I'm only not sure because I know I've said to some people but not others. Also I didn't know you liked dreamscapes. If you have mentioned this to me before, please accept my apologies, and blame my crappy memory. I adore dreams and things to do with dreams and wow isn't the human brain weird, so if I did forget then I'm sorry).

I know what you mean about games being console exclusive - I want to play Journey really badly (since it seems to be similar to ICO in that it's explore-y, and there's no real combat), but it's PS3 game and it's staying that way :(

And yeah, I feel you on Journey - that's another one of my list of "games I'm pissed off I can't play".

O_O That's worrying! I suppose you could always watch a playthrough on Youtube, because it's not that long a game. I kind of wish I could stream it for you, but I'm running on super old computer here :( (also Linux). But I know that's not the same as playing the game for yourself.

Mmm, it's really unfair. I'm surprised it hasn't been ported, given it seems to have had a lot of attention/praise, but then again, neither did ICO or Shadow of the Colossus.
