The return of the return of foodblogging
Apr. 19th, 2012 01:50 amI sort of fell off the foodblogging wagon. Sorry! (... To the one person out there who enjoys this. ;-))
I did keep taking pictures of my food, though, so I can catch up now. So, without further ado, here's what I had on March 25th:

Looks nice, doesn't it? It was, actually, an object lesson in not trusting appearances, because it was almost inedible. I'd tried some new chilis in it... and ended up with something that rated about a million on the hotness scale. Also, putting the leftover red cabbage in there wasn't a good idea.
So, on the next day, I fried the leftovers (about a third of what you can see on the plate up there) with some additional plain rice and an egg, and that helped to reduce the hotness somewhat, turning the dish edible if not exactly a great joy to eat. Also, the red cabbage still didn't fit.
In other news: my arms are thinner than a carrot:

Date: 2012-04-19 08:43 pm (UTC)Man, that's one hell of a carrot! Or we just have defective carrots over here? I've *never* seen one that huge in my life (and I know you don't have massive wrists, neither do I, but seriously...one large carrot!)
