hmpf: Cole and Ramse from the show not actually called "Splinter" (Default)

About 95% of all pictures that I save are of Thom Yorke (yes, still fangirling). So, most of the time, when I save a pic, Windows automatically suggests that folder, and most of the time it's right.

Yet just now, I saved a pic of Phil Selway, and Windows *automatically selected the "Not TY" subfolder*. HOW DID IT KNOW?!?

Also, on previous occasions, it's proved eerily adept at auto-selecting the John Simm folder when I wanted to save a John Simm pic. (Though not with 100% accuracy. A couple of times it's also tried to place Thom Yorke pics there, which I found quite amusing: even Windows gets confused by Yorke's Simmilarity!)

I'd assume it'd just select the last folder that's been used - except I'm pretty sure I've experienced various situations where that quite definitely didn't happen.

So, I'm forced to assume my Windows has developed sentience. And face recognition.

No idea about Windows 7, but my good old XP does that all the time and I have yet to understand why or how it does that.

P.S. - sorry for being a stranger and not answering your latest e-mails: I've fallen into a black hole of work- and family-related problems and still haven't had time to resurface. *pouts*
