Yesterday's lunch: vaguely American pancakes. Because they're a good way to get rid of leftover milk-derived stuff - cream, sour cream, yoghurt, a mix of any and all, you name it, anything goes; it's an extremely forgiving kind of batter:

Had two plates of this. And for dinner, three plates of the psychedelic red cabbage salad again - because if you're single and you buy a full head of red cabbage, you'd better be prepared to eat lots of it, several days in a row. I *still* have about a third of the head left.)

And today: vegetable broth with noodles. More noodles and vegetables than broth, really. Some sesame oil sprinkled on top. A classic comfort food, for me.

There's a few portions left. I may decide to have some of it for breakfast tomorrow, as I've found out that that is a particularly good way to start the day. (I've even thought of making it my standard breakfast - the main reason I haven't, so far, is that I'm not too fond of dicing all these vegetables on a regular basis.)

I could also keep it for Monday and Tuesday, of course. (Though Tuesday's kind of pushing it, maybe?) Make something with the leftover red cabbage, and assorted other leftover vegetables that probably need to be used up quickly, tomorrow.

Decisions decisions...

(I'm sorry about the foodblogging... but I find it kind of fun, at the moment.)

I like food blogging! Please continue!

Your dishes always look so scrumptious. I've just had a full Sunday tea and now I'm hungry after looking at those pictures.

Tuesday should be OK for the veg broth, as long as you're recooking the whole lot. As long as it doesn't start smelling funny. But I wouldn't keep it any longer than Tuesday (but by the sounds of it, you will finish it by then?)
