Errm... Not gonna answer that one here in plain sight. But if you're logged in and scroll down a few entries, the answer kind of becomes obvious. (Most of my entries are f-locked these days, for reasons that will also become obvious.)
But, yeah, I'm glad I'm writing, too. Been missing it a lot.
I have to second this. Sam/Maya, yay! Guess I'm kind of a 'shipper, ever since the episode where he (wrongly, in my opinion) just 'let her go' and started to sever the ties to his own world.
And yeah, definitely always got a sense of Sam really loving Maya, despite probably being a bit of a dick in that relationship. So they're difficult to write (because of the Sam-is-a-dick factor), but I do kind of ship them. I have two fics about them in the works, but one of those wants to be a novel, so I think I should get the shorter and easier one out of the way first. (The one that wants to be a novel will be a big post-2.08 fic in which Sam survives.)
Actually, come to think of it, I kind of have three, but one of them is a) not *about* Sam and Maya - Maya doesn't even appear in it, it's just strongly implied that they're in a relationship, so in that sense it's Sam/Maya-shippy, and b) it's not for public consumption. It's kind of an epilogue to an alternative, non-existent version of the post-2.08 fic already mentioned. It will never be published. (Assorted people have read it, though - but it's a fic that only makes sense if you know a lot of the backstory that I'll never write; without that backstory, the version of Sam in that fic is just wildly OOC.)
Also, calling the shorther one "easier" is a bit of an overstatement. Really, it's just shorter, and not easier. There's a reason I've been stalled on this one for all these years...
