My grandpa ist dead.

Aged 95. Surrounded by family. So, as deaths go, it was almost as good as it gets.

But death still sucks.

I'm sorry to hear that. Indeed, it does sound like a 'good death' in many ways, but I don't think that's something you should feel you have to rationalise at this point. Losing a loved one is always diffcult and sad, no matter what the exact circumstances are. I agree death always sucks - and it should, I think. I wish you and your family all the best, and a lot of strengh.
