Contrary to what it looks like,

I do know most people have a much more difficult life than mine.

I whine for stress relief, basically, not because I think my life is the worst life ever or something.

Although I am more than a little unhappy at the moment.

But yeah, it's not the kind of earth-shattering, inescapable desperation that a lot of people have; more a 'well, I need to figure out how to do things better' kind of thing.

(Jeez, I *really* need to get working now. Fuck all this procrastination. I'm just so, so, so tired.)

Christ, there's *always* someone who seems to have a worse time of it than you do. Personal pain isn't relative to others' experience. It's yours. It's perfectly natural to hurt, to express hurt and frustration, to bang your fists on the wall. We're human, and that's what we do.

Yeah... just trying to keep some perspective, you know? It does feel more than a bit presumptuous to go on for pages and pages about how "waaaaah, I have a dream job but it means I actually have to *work*, like other people! How terrible!"

I'm sure everybody here would much rather read some new fic from me. Hell, I would prefer to read some new fic of mine.
