Honey, I have kept it clear in hopes! When and where are you arriving, and are you a vegetarian? I can't remember whether you cook veggie from principle or expediency. :)
Can also offer crash space, but am about an eighty-ninety minute commute (of which forty-five mins is a £12 train journey) from central London, so it may be less hassle and only marginally more expensive for you to stay centrally. Offer is very much open however.
I'm arriving at St Pancras, 15:26 (local time, not German time, I hope! I think it is local time, though. Otherwise the trip from Brussels to London would take only one hour!) Will have to head to the hostel first to drop off my luggage, but the hostel's supposedly just around the corner... We could meet there? - St Pancras YHA, maybe at four? Or a bit later, somewhere in town - but I'm bad at estimating how much time I will need to get from A to B in London, so maybe the hostel makes the most sense. Or we could just meet at the station and you could accompany me to the hostel. (So many options! OMG, tell me what to do! :D)
Also, yeah, I'm vegetarian - more or less. "More or less" meaning that I make exceptions for a handful of old favourites, and will *very* occasionally resort to eating chicken when there's no decent vegetarian option on a given menu and I don't feel like eating chips for the fifth time in a week. ;-)
As for the offer of crash space - it does sound like it's not very convenient for me, as I'm leaving from Euston really early the next morning. In fact, I chose my hostel mainly because it's close to the station (at something like eight in the morning, eeek), so I won't have to get up even earlier... Thanks, though!
:-/ Only downside of my wonderful company I'm afraid is that I'm working 'til five, and probably won't get to London 'til about seven, being optimistic. I guess that gives you time to explore, but it's not as convenient as meeting at four. Sorry. (my suggestion for your entertainment, btw, would be making yr way from hostel to the Stolen Goods Depot a.k.a. British Museum, which is open in its entirety until six and partially until nine, then perambulate on to meet me in Soho for veggie chow. Alternatively take train to river and enjoy scifi-esque view. But Stolen Goods Depot is geographically closer.)
My number is (still) 07743 898742, btw, PUT IT IT YOUR PHONE so no mishaps happen and email me yours before you go. Am still at same email address. xx
