hmpfbecause I live far from the river, but apparently part of the city is currently flooded. Kinda makes me want to go and have a look - but I still have that blasted proposal and a cover letter to write.
ETA: I just realised: the place where I'll have my job interview next week is probably in the flooded area. o.O
