I'm sick and taking refuge at my parents' for the time being...

The most annoying thing about being sick now is that I will miss the Tolkien Thing, which not only is an event I've been looking forward to for practically a whole year, but which I also already paid a substantial amount of money for. Arrgh.

Oh well. There's always next year.

I'm fine again, btw - and I even got part of the money for the Tolkien weekend back, so at least financially that wasn't as big a disaster as I expected. I still regret not having been there, though - lots of people there that I don't see very often.
