hmpfalthough I've allegedly been 'finishing it up' for days now.
This is mainly due to the following mental process:

*brainfreeze*

"Must look at kittyporn!"
I *have* started studying for the exams a bit, so the time I spend being brainfrozen on the thesis isn't completely lost (although I should probably cut down on the kittyporn. And the fic writing discussions.) And, rationally, I know that I only have something like five more sentences to write on the conclusion, and rework the introduction a bit, and then do some corrections (not that many, because I already did a couple of rounds of that), and add the laughably short bibliography, and then it'll be done. Except for printing, copying, binding and delivering it, that is. So, there's something like maybe three days of work left, if that much.
Oh, since I mentioned the exams: unfortunately I'm experiencing similar brainfreeze issues about approaching my profs about finalising the exams topics........ Arrgh.
On the plus side: got the thesis (minus the conclusion that I'm still writing) back from the incredibly helpful and supportive and reliable and *fast* and just generally wonderful![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
beccatoria (who is the kind of friend that I would love to be), who native-speaker proofed it for me, and she liked it a lot. So maybe it doesn't suck. Although, as she correctly observes, she is not a prof and doesn't know what a German university would expect. (Heh. Neither do I, to be honest! This is my first thesis; I've never even *read* one before!)
