I've actually done a lot of work today.
Feb. 27th, 2004 12:57 amYay me.
I *did* skip out on uni, though. Anyway, read almost a whole book for one of my essays today, will get back to it with a cup of fresh brewed tea in a minute, and get the rest done.
Oh, and more news of Hmpf the successful student: did I ever mention that embarrassing essay I wrote in only two days that I thought was the worst thing I'd ever written? Well, I got a 67 on that. That's actually a pretty good grade. Had to LOL when I heard! (I still think it's the worst thing I've ever written.)
So... the first essay I wrote here in Britain I thought was pretty decent, and it got a 68. The second one I thought was pretty shitty, and it got a 67. The third one I thought was pretty brilliant, but I don't know yet what the prof thought. If that *also* gets something in the upper sixties range, I will have to start to question the standards by which I judge my own work... *g*
Edited to add: it just occurred to me that there's a pattern here. If 'pretty good' in my essays equals 68, and 'pretty shitty' equals 67, then 'pretty brilliant' will probably turn out 69. Hmm... if that theory will hold up...?
