It's a great show. I'm probably... not enough of a fan to call myself a fan of it, though. *g* It's a show I immensely enjoy watching, but feel absolutely no need to write or even just read fanfic or make/watch vids about etc., nor discuss with other fen. Just something I really like, but not something I obsess about, you know?

I'm similar. I love thinking about it, in a meta sense, but I don't feel the urge to write. Except, like you, a little trifle of a thing.
It's weird, how fannish inspiration goes. I would say BSG and Firefly are probably the best shows (in that their excellence is consistent) I've watched, and I'm not inspired to write for them at all. Where Highlander and Miami VIce have some truely aweful episodes, but I'm poked by the plot bunny more than I have time to write.

Yes... I think. (Remember my geekgasm at the navigation scene in the miniseries? I love that you get a sense of the physical reality of the ship in BSG. Spaceships that you can get a physical sense of are sexy. Or maybe I'm just weird. Probably. The cause for my post was the beginning of 3.16, with the lovingly portrayed flight deck work routines.)

Re: the porn, I kind of meant the pieces of technology that look like supermodels and appear to be having threesomes with Gaius Baltar. Or the hybrid who appears to have an orgasm every time she jumps the ship...

Let me know when you reach the end of season three - there's a vid I totally have to recommend to you. Plus I actually wrote some fic for this show if you're interested (it's very short, but VERY spoilery and set post-finale, and, oddly, not about Roslin...)
