And the opposite side doesn't seem to have anything new to say, either, so we can either go on going in circles forever, or stop. Stopping seems like the saner choice.

And as they seem to feel like they're being insulted/flamed (even though they are the majority), it would be wiser to stop before a rift grows and people start getting personal.

It drives me nuts as well. Which is why I find it impossible to go near that place--Unfortunately, I can have a far more caustic approach to things that appear, in my estimation, a big pile of 'duh'. In other words, I don't post there because I'm afraid anything I might add will used to fan flames in a massive fandom war, especially when I get angry at insinuations that because I didn't like the ending I'm either an idiot or not a real fan of the show.

I might be an idiot, I can give people that. I don't believe this is true, but they can. However, I did not watch fifteen hours of what I thought to be amazing TV and recommend it to all my friends because I'm someone who isn't a 'fan'.
