Sometimes We Believe, which, arrgh, looks worse every time I look at it. amonitrate's comments are a lot of help, though. But it's tough going. Oh so tough. I still think there's a good story lurking somewhere in that mess, otherwise I wouldn't go to all this trouble. But it *is* such a mess. What makes this so difficult is that it's mostly characterisation that needs fixing. And it's *Horsemen* characterisation. I'm not good at getting into the heads of immortal mass murderers. I'm not good at getting into the head of someone as old, cunning, and twisted as Horseman Methos.

Arrgh.

So that time we got together and rained down plague and sulphur on unsuspecting cities while taking bets on which of us could eviscerate a peasant using only a dull spoon meant NOTHING to you, huh?!

Oh, and good luck with that characterisation thingy. It'll work itself out, you'll see. Maybe it's just time to put it away for a while and let the ideas percolate? Not that I'm trying to slow down your awesome writing rush, just....sometimes you have to get it out of your head for a while.
