Strange days

[hmpf]

Working at the Deutsche Bibliothek, revising for the American History exam, reading web comics, posting too much at various boards, dreaming strange dreams of friends and rafts, of death, danger and escape, strangely sunny; listening to filk and political songs -

I'm ill-prepared for the exam tomorrow, but I'm oddly happy. Feeling as if something is changing in my life, which objectively speaking it isn't.

Maybe something is moving in my mind.

Or maybe I'm just losing it a bit. Stress? Adrenaline high? Hm.

Anyway, I could be worse.

If you feel like something is changing in your life then it probably is. Big changes don't always have to be big events, sometimes they just happen when they're ready and for no apparent reason. And at this point I'd be quoting those line about a sea-change at you if it weren't too pretentious :).

The exam was horrible, anyway, but thanks for the good wishes. ;-)

Yeah, the raft dream was weird. We were on this island, but it wasn't lonely or deserted at all, but we had to leave, anyway, and apparently the only way to do it was by building this raft. And I had all these not very encouraging statistics in my head, about how many, or rather how few people survive long trips on self-built rafts... I think it was something like 11 or 13 percent.

Weird dream. I don't remember who my raft mates were, either.

Unless you count the fact that I have a real, honest to god job now, working at the German Library. (Nice side benefit: I can borrow any book published in Germany since 1913!)

Anders kann man es auch nicht sehen. Habe auch Erfahrungen in dem Bereich (Wer nicht?). Jetzt kannst Du wenigstens erstmal wieder durchatmen.
