When I came back from the monthly Farscape dinner today with two friends,

ommadon was waiting in front of my house. I'd been expecting him *next* Friday. It was a surreal moment of the highest magnitude, and possibly the most embarrasing thing that has happened to me in recent years, right up there with forgetting a friends' birthday *and* visiting her on that day without noticing! Yeah, I'm a bad friend, and a bad host. Arrgh.

Fortunately the Farscape dinner finished early tonight; fortunately, we decided to go to my place afterwards; fortunately,

ommadon hadn't decided to leave yet. Fortunately I still had some food for him!

Since I wasn't expecting him this week, and already made some hard-to-cancel plans for the weekend, he'll have to tag along tomorrow when I'm meeting another friend tomorrow morning... oh well, at least that friend's fluent in English.

But really, I feel sooooo stupid now. And guilty as hell. He even brought me a present, and I left him to his own devices in a strange city. I'm lucky he remembered my address, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to find me!

Arrgh.
