1:34 h til the next It's Walky page and I still haven't recovered from the last. Joyce's words in the last panel are one of the most heartbreaking things I've seen in fiction of any kind, and that's saying a lot, as I tend to like heartbreaking stuff and thus consume a lot of it.

Oh Joyce... Walky... Sal... hell, even Mike. A week and a half ago I did not know you, and now I'm all but crying for you.

Silly, isn't it?

*sigh*

That was really touching. After 6 frelling years he managed to tell her that he loved her, just to get killed a few hours later. */&$%&$

It's so frelling frustrating, isn't it? Sal & Jason... never really getting around to having a relationship. Walky & Joyce... getting around to it but only to --

Arrgh.

Hey, maybe Joyce was right and pre-marital hanky-panky *is* that big a sin, and this is the punishment? *eg*

Hardly. I mean, he's not coming back as Walky, really... and to me, being the Cheese looks pretty depressing. Really, being dead would almost be more of a happy ending than that...

Of course, there's still the possibility that Sal will do something, after all she 'promised' Walky that she would prevent his death (though it seems a bit late for that now). However, I think that's pretty unlikely. I'm actually not even sure she's right in her belief that Jason and Tony are really dead - note they haven't turned up in the afterlife yet, and pretty much everybody else seems to be there.

Ah, but then... I don't know. Anything is possible. I'll just wait and see.

I must say that the 'purgatory' strips are sort of a relief after strips like yesterday's. All the dead people seem relatively calm and collected, there isn't much angsting. Someone on the forum has already suggested the sequel might be 'It's the Afterlife!' *g*

Actually...

I think I should reread the entire comic. All 2300 strips of it. I'm just so confused now...

Now look - linking to webcomics is hardly fair :) I'm almost tempted to go and read the previous strips, but I have a PhD to do!!!!
