You need to get money out of the cash machine. There are two; one of them is being used by someone at the moment. Which do you use? (Please tick.)

(_) I use the cash machine that is not currently being used.

(_) I disregard the vacant machine and queue behind the person using the other one. You never know: the vacant one might be out of order. At least with this one, I can see it's working as someone's using it right now. Besides, I like to queue.

Most of us Yanks might opt for using the available machine, because we want our money quickly! Need it now! Things to buy, Places to go, Tubes to ride! CONSUUUUME!!

Also, I'm under a curse that every queue I stand in becomes the longest wait in history, so in my case, best to go where there isn't one.

*g* and I always thought, the Americans only need creditcards, even to buy some chewing gum.

I'm, as a German, are trained to save time. ;o) So I would use the available machine. Respectively it works. *bg*
