hmpfJust wanted to say thanks for all the hugs and concern here today. Thankfully, I feel better now, although I still think I probably failed that exam. But, no use crying over spilt milk, etc.
I still have to prepare for another exam and write an essay in the next few days, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to catch up with my flist anytime soon, but I'll probably try to at least scan it quickly to see if there have been any major catastrophes in your lives that I should know about... I feel terribly out of touch.

Date: 2004-05-13 06:15 am (UTC)In the throes of last-minute coursework submissions, I decided to steal half an hour for fun internet activities, such as working out my wrestler name (The Reckless Hipchecker) and wishing Hmpf goodluck on her first exam. Which I missed. I am a poor and tardy friend!
On the plus side, I get to miss out on all the 'how-will-she-do' angst and get straight to the condolence hugs. And the reminder that it doesn't matter even if you *do* suck as a student in the UK because you *don't* suck as one in Germany.
In a more active attempt at cheefulness:
Always remember, you wear the Glasses of Command in your heart. And if those goshdarned examiners are mean to you, I'll get President Roslin to drive out in her Batmobile and beat them up.

But President Roslin can't beat up my lecturer. He's nice. I screwed up all by myself, nobody else to blame.
BTW... I downloaded parts of the BSG soundtrack from somewhere on the net. I'm seriously debating buying the soundtrack, 'cause I *really* liked the music!
And I really want to come to Bath sometime soon... are you going to be there in the holidays as well? Where *will* you be in the holidays? I'm currently thinking of staying a bit longer, even if I don't have a job, just to do some more travelling-and-meeting-friends.
Next two weeks will be pretty busy, though...
Oh, and it's 'Kommandobrille' and 'Einmal Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof' (gratuitous German spelling lesson ;-) ...)

There are variables - not sure when/how much I'll be working, etc. But weekends should always be free and feh - we'll sort something out. Just let me know when you wanna come down and see me!
