Lynne: "You don't look so good."
Jaeger: "I don't feel so good."
Lynne: You don't look like you feel so good."
Jaeger: "Well, I don't feel like I look like I feel so good."
Lynne: "You don't look like you feel like you look like you feel so good."
Jaeger: "Yeah, well, I don't feel like I look like I feel like I look like I feel so good."
Lynne: "Well, I'm sorry you don't feel like you look like you feel like you look like you feel so good."
Jaeger: "Oh, well, I'm sorry you're sorry I don't feel like I look like I feel like I look like I feel so good."
Lynne: "I'm deeply concerned about your sympathy with my empathy over our common perception of the deterioration of your general appearance and presumably similarly deficient health! AAAGH!"
Jaeger: "Hey, lay off the hitting! I don't feel so good."
(Finder: Sin-Eater, pt.1)

In other words... the rest of my Finder comics have arrived, including a personal note by the author, and an original page of artwork. There really is something to be said for supporting the small press... I mean, apart from the pleasant feeling of doing what's morally right, that is. *g*

And now I'm off to bed, 'cause my sleep pattern is completely frelled again and I need to try to start going to bed before four in the morning again.

Eliza talking to Eliza?

This looks like a dialog of the famous pseudo-AI ELIZA with itself :-)

Eliza...

You're right, it really does. (I've 'talked' to Eliza once... bloody frustrating.)

But, according to Carla Speed McNeil it's actually a conversation she had with her husband once, when he wasn't feeling so good. *g* I just had to post it here because it made me LOL.

Oh, and there's two crucial differences between Jaeger and Eliza:

1.) You can't hit Eliza if you get frustrated with her
and
2.) Eliza isn't as sexy. *eg*

Er, how are you more able to hit a fictitious hero than you are able to hit a ficitious shrink?

I guess that would depend mostly on your sexual orientation :-)

Well, *I* can't hit him, but Lynne, being just as ficitious, can:

Well, yeah, if your idea of sexiness is ones and zeros... ;-)

If that counts, think of all the nasty things a programmer can do to Eliza *eg*

You should know best of all that my idea of sexiness transcends blond hair and large breasts ;-)
