How weird.
Jan. 28th, 2004 04:48 amI go all boring and Real Life for a few weeks, and suddenly lots of new-old people start friending me. What am I to make of that? You want to read lots of stuff about my university stress? ;-)
*waves to new-old people, esp. BABEs!*
Will friend back, but have to go to bed now.
Only one person seems to have become so bored by my inane postings that she left. Which is sort of a shame because I was thrilled when she friended me, but hey, I predicted my LJ was mostly boring, and I guess she realised I spoke the truth. *g* I am honoured the rest of you stayed. Thank you. (Even though you probably don't read the mind-numbingly boring entries I produce at the moment, and who could blame you. I will try and get more interesting as soon as uni allows me to free at least a tiny part of my mind again.)
And another person left LJ entirely, which I am very sorry to see, especially since I don't know how to contact her now. :-(
To get back to the topic, which was 'weird': apparently, up to four people per week are visiting my website coming via a link from a website one of my old classmates made about our Abitur class. I find that scary. Anyone of you lurking here? I'm not sure how I feel about that. On the other hand, this *is* a public place, so I shouldn't complain.

Date: 2004-01-28 04:07 am (UTC)And who might you be, Anonymous?
Date: 2004-01-28 05:24 am (UTC)They didn't link to my blog but to my website. I have no idea who is reading my blog, apart from the people on my friends list, and there's no way of finding out, really. I only know stats about people that visit my website. They may find this blog via my website, though, as I linked to it from there.
As for the link to my website from that old school website - well, I may not particularly *like* people from my past visiting my online life, but *I* chose to make that part of my life public by creating a website and a weblog in the first place, and it would be a bit hypocritical to whine now. So, if someone 'from the past' reads this, they're welcome, really - even if they may think me a freak for leading the kind of life that I live, and having the kind of priorities that I have. This is me, take it or leave it. I am not ashamed of what I do here, and I'm not doing anything that might offend anybody, I think.
