Two years ago, actually. He's a bit puzzled by the lack of anything happening (it's a virtual walk in the park, nothing's *supposed* to happen! ;-)) and he misses the two secrets I hid in it. Anyway... you can still get a pretty decent idea of the level from watching the Let's Play:

Date: 2012-03-22 09:34 pm (UTC)That's reminded me - there's a game I own that I love playing - Ilomilo, and I keep thinking I ought to tell you about it. Anyway, I've had it a year and forgotten (also because it's on the Xbox, and no PC version). But I keep thinking you'd like it because it's the sort of thing I think you'd like - i.e. a virtual walk in the park. ANYWAY. It turns out that one of the guys who worked on it (I don't know who) worked on the original Knytt game. Which I thought you might find interesting?
That sounds interesting indeed.

Date: 2012-03-24 10:23 pm (UTC)I recently managed to get a copy (and Shadow of the Colossus) and it is the best game ever. It makes me so happy, and it's so heartwarming. Even the combat isn't that...well, it's not like most combat in games, if that makes sense? And I really think you'd like it.
Also here's a tumblr you might like (has ICO and SotC stuff): http://roaroftheearth.tumblr.com/
It probably was Nifflas. Now I think of it, the article didn't say, but I do know Ilomilo is a Swedish game, and isn't Nifflas Swedish (not that that logic makes sense, because I know there was a British guy working on it. ANYWAY).
