Boring to you, interesting to me:
Nov. 2nd, 2003 02:29 amwww.allabouthmpf.com now contains 173 files, 56 of which are graphics, and has a total size of 4,8 MB (I think. Not quite sure how to find the relevant data in my FTP program.)
clanmacslow.allabouthmpf.com consists of 105 files and has a size of 1,8 MB.
fstreffen.allabouthmpf.com consists of 33 files and has a size of 0,4 MB.
That means I'm using a total of 7 MB of my alotted 50. Lots of space for expansion! *g*
Addendum: just took another look, and saw that I had overlooked one folder, the size of which was 1,3 MB. So, I'm actually using 8,3 MB. Not that it matters.

Duh. My stats for schneepoesie.de are 5.14MB out of 150MB space used and half of this space belongs to CILD, so it's not even publicly accessible. My transfer volume for Oct was 40MB out of an allowed 10GB.
I once read that most people who buy webspace misjudge their needs and buy packages much too large for them. On the other hand having more space than you need feels a lot better than having too little of it.
How much are you using?

What so much of logfiles? I haven't looked at them often. Is there the option to delete those to clear some room?
Re: How much are you using?
Date: 2003-11-02 11:36 am (UTC)Maybe it's possible to download them, but then, I don't know which program one might use to look at them.

Date: 2003-11-02 12:26 pm (UTC)You should definitely download those logs. They usually have much more information than the preprocessed stats providers offer through the web interface.
I *LOVE* evaluating log files. They tell me exactly which links people followed to get to my site, which search engine queries they used, which sites link to my pages, how long they looked at a certain page before moving on, etc. The information you find in log files can be interesting, embarassing (usually for others), exciting and intriguing.
