Or perhaps, a great writing night - inspiration struck when I was about to shut down the computer, so I stayed up a bit longer.
I struggled with the Maya thing, on and off throughout the day, to no avail.
Then had a weird moment of clarity(?) regarding the 2.08 survival fic, which may lead to that fic mutating into something *quite* different than I had planned. Plotty, and science-fictiony.
And late at night, I wrote half a scene for the Sandman crossover (Sam talking to Matthew the raven).
Also, the day before yesterday, I had another look at the seven or eight year old Methos WiP I take out only about once a year, and it looked more manageable to me than it did the last time I looked at it. Half considering moving that back into active development...
There are so many unsolved problems about every single one of those fics still, though. I wish I could be reasonably sure that when I sit down to work on one of them, *something* useful is going to happen. But nine times out of ten, nothing happens at all.
I want a faster brain.
