Ugh.

Just found a frozen beetle in my frozen parsley.

*After* I put it into my soup.

Thankfully, before I pureed it.

Still going to eat the soup. I figure the chance that there's any kind of health risk involved after the soup has been thoroughly cooked is fairly small. Also, I think the beetle was only in there for a few seconds. (I'm going to cook the soup for a bit longer now, though.) And I don't have the time to make something else for dinner.

Depends on what kind of beetle, i guess.
But since insects are food pretty much everywhere outside Europe...
