The good news is...
May. 16th, 2010 08:45 pmthat I think that I'm going to write a bit, today.
The bad news? Nothing new. Not enough money. Not enough space. Not enough money to get more space. Living in a shared flat, in a small, entirely too cramped room, at age 33, sucks. ETA: To be more precise: living in a relatively small flat you share with three other people sucks. I'd love to share a reasonably-sized flat with just one friend. So, it's not the sharing that's the problem, it's the amount of people and the lack of space.
I just realised that if I wanted to move, I would have to do it within the next few months - because winter is a bad time for moving, and by next summer I'll be too broke to afford the move (unless I find a job, of course). But I'm about to start an internship in Hamburg this summer, so I can't really move this summer, either.
Incidentally, this also affects my vague ideas of also looking for work in Britain. That plan only makes sense as long as I still have enough money to afford moving house across countries. I'll only have that kind of money for a few more months.
