A friend of mine at college has been melting lead all year which, while hazardous to the health (we have to give her a wide berth when she's outside doing it), is so very pretty. I have a photo of a pot of melted lead purely for that reason).
I am envious, because I can think of nothing that would require me to melt metal :(
