hmpf: Cole and Ramse from the show not actually called "Splinter" (Default)
and apparently my emotions (and physical effects thereof) are still so out of whack that just receiving that mail almost gave me a heart attack. I mean, sending a story out to your beta, and getting it back, is always a little bit nerve-wracking, but today... that was a bit excessive. I'm beginning to wonder if I can take the strain of posting it, at the moment. I mean, that's also always kind of nerve-wracking... and who knows what it will do to me when I'm apparently still like this?

Overall, there isn't that much small stuff to fix, but some of my main intentions may actually not have come through completely, so I may have to think about how/if that can/should be fixed.

I totally love semicolons FAR TOO MUCH. I know this, and I try to eradicate as many as possible (I swear, in my first drafts there often are more semicolons than there are commas and full stops), but some (always a few too many, still) invariably slip through.

I should probably mail this to beccatoria, but since I actually meant to make a post about this very topic yesterday evening, i.e. well before I received the beta'd story (with beccatoria's remark about my excessive use of semicolons) I figured I should post it here. :D

what's the radiation unit you associate most with contaminated food? (Remember Chernobyl? What's the unit that was used the most, for example in the news and so on?)

I need to know because of reasons.
