Still all about the garden.

5,082! And on page 11, now.

Seems like my recent visits to the future of the 1980s were helpful in writing about the future of the 1980s...

ETA: I think it will be a little more than 11 pages, now. Maybe 11 and a half?

Still amazed...

that I crossed the 5,000 words threshold yesterday. :-)

It's already the longest story I've written, by some 300 words or so.

And it's still getting longer!

And I'm not even stuck, at the moment! There's a couple of bits I'm not yet sure how to handle, but there's also still several scenes that are already mostly there in my head and that I just have to put to paper.

The only problem is that really I should be working on important RL stuff... but I can't can't can't abandon this now!

Any gardening people here?

Need some very general bug-related info, and I don't feel like going to little_details right now.

ETA: Ah, right. The question. *sheepish*

Are there some bugs that don't infest plants in great numbers necessarily but that you still want to control a bit, and thus will collect off your plants sometimes?

And what do you do with the collected bugs. Do you crush them or what?

ETA2: C'mon. This is for a LoM fic and I need it for a gesture of casual creepy cruelty. You *know* you want to read that! ;-)

Well on my way to 5,200...

And this will definitely get a bit longer than I expected. I thought I was safely back to fast-forward mode now, but it keeps slowing down for scenes in real-time.

I think we may be looking at a total of 13 pages rather than the 11 or 12 I expected even just yesterday. Which would mean hitting 6,000! I feel like I'm writing a novel...
