Strange interconnections: the last book I read was American Gods, by Neil Gaiman. In the afterword, he claims to have taken the 'best sentence in the epilogue' from Gene Wolfe, by whom I am about to read a book. Also, before I bought London Orbital by Iain Sinclair, virtually the first thing I read when I opened the book randomly, was a reference to Neil Gaiman. So, Sinclair reads Gaiman, and Gaiman reads Wolfe.
