There was a chat scheduled today with Ben, DK and Froon which had to be rescheduled to tomorrow due to the server at scifi being unable to handle 600+ people trying to join simultaneously. Let's hope tomorrow it will go better than today. Barb had something moderately hopeful to say, though:

I'm not sure how hopeful I want to get, though. I hate getting disappointed, so maybe I'll opt for careful skepticism until tomorrow evening. night. morning. whatever.

Just because I get a kick out of it, here's some more info on that ad in the Hollywood Reporter yesterday:
>>And how cool is the ad? And how cool are the people at the Hollywood Reporter? They upgraded the placement of the ad.
One of our stealth staff just contacted the Hollywood Reporter about this and Maryam Lavi, the very charming lady there, had this to say:
"You got a great position for your ad [in the issue]. It came out looking really great. It was a pleasure working with you, and any time you need anything I'd love to help out. I'll definitely watch Farscape now!" "You guys are doing a terrific job, and it was our pleasure to help out with the upgrade."<<

I am very glad that right now many people seem to have the same ideas I posted here yesterday:
- boost the ratings when the rest of the season runs in January/February/March - the goal is the 2.0 mark!
- find more viewers via Farscape viewing parties and lending DVDs and tapes to interested potential viewers
- keep putting ads in trade magazines and getting publicity
Everybody really does seem to get ready for the long haul. :-)
