The List of Awesome
Sep. 28th, 2005 08:34 pmYes, I'm still alive. And I see the end of the Period of Extreme Stress approaching, so never fear, I will update (and read all your LJs again) soon.
For now, here's the List of Awesome:
I'm on Hellblazer cover #214! Look: http://www.insanerantings.com/mbimages/Hellblazer214f.jpg (No, this is not a coincidence.)
Zebra Girl goes print!
Finder goes webcomic!
Finder trade #7 rocks! Even Salon.com says so! http://www.salon.com/books/review/2005/08/05/mcneil/index_np.html
David Willis thinks I'm teh awesome. Also, he has to go potty. (See: DW *is* Walky! It's all true!)
The It's Walky! translation project is making good progress.
Bin-jip (Korean movie) is very beautiful. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0423866/)
So is Haibane Renmei (anime).
Also, I've discovered ancient Greek music.
And rediscovered Kate Bush.
And got a cheap deal on a large part of Naru Taru.
And an even cheaper one on Planetes pt.1.
There's a new person at the Rhein-Main Farscape meet-up, too.
And, obviously, Worldcon rocked so badly I really need to go to another soon. More on that later.
Not so cool: I fell on my face on Saturday. Ow. Also, I have to get up at five in the morning every day at the moment. Urgh.

Date: 2005-09-28 07:20 pm (UTC)What should have gone on the List of Not So Cool: You have to have John organise your trip?! Are you men or mice?! Err, wait... Anyway, you get my point. You're old enough to organise your own trips!

Date: 2005-10-15 04:44 am (UTC)BTW, stupid Space channel doesn't list Farscape starting over again, so I haven't been able to watch a single episode yet. Then again, Space is a pretty lame, they always recycle any shows they ever aired, so in not so distant future we might get Farscape back, so I will be able to see what you guys are talking about. They showed the "Peacekeeper Wars" but I didn't want to watch it, without knowing anything about the show itself--it would be like watching Serenity without watching Firefly, just a lot worse, since Farscape had a longer run than Firefly ever did, so, much more background information to be taken from the series to watch the movie. Yeah, I am very verbose today, so sue me :)
In the process of catching up with my neglected LJ life...
Date: 2006-01-11 07:34 pm (UTC)BTW, that accident sounded a lot more dramatic than it really was.
