... I finished Frankenstein's Story yesterday. AKA the story that wouldn't end, AKA the monster I had to rip apart and stitch back together several times, AKA 'Normal', though possibly to be retitled soon. Started writing it in January 2002, after the Farscape ep 'Terra Firma', and since then I've been struggling to finish it. Really, really struggling.

I'm still not sure I've *won*, but at least it's over.

Well. The usual revising/refining process is still to happen, but the end is written.

I'm so happy I'm done with this that I'd like to continue right away with another story. However, university just kicked into 'What? You want to have a life beside me? How dare you!?' mode and I probably won't get around to doing anything fandom-related (except for the necessary Worldcon stuff) in the next four weeks.

Wow, dude! WELL DONE! You have to send it to me now, or tell me where I can find it so I can go read it. When I have proper internet access again. Which, actually, might not be for about four weeks (although probably just two).

But back to the important part - WELL DONE! I vindication for slow writers. Which, unfortunately, I am discovering I can't afford to be any more. Blah, stupid September deadlines, blah, I say, BLAH!

(Yes, September is three months away, but it's 35,*000* words!)
